 This activity is recommended for students from 4th grade onwards. It is a word search with basic everyday vocabulary. With this activity we will work on writing, as well as speaking in case of reading the descriptions aloud.

This activity can be done in groups or individually. Below is an example of the different words and their respective descriptions:

A- Airplane: Transport that travels through the air.

B- Ball: Round object used to play different sports.

C- Cat: Animal with seven lives.

D- Dog: Man's best friend.

E- Eye: Organ that allows us to see.

F- Fingers: We have 10 on our hands and 10 on our feet.

G- Game: Something we play.

H- Horse: Animal we can ride with a long tail.

I- Ice: Water in solid state.

J- Jacket: We wear it when we are cold.

K- King: Husband of the queen.

L- Left: The opposite of right.

M- Magic: Magicians do it.

N- Nine: Number after eight.

O- October: Month number 10.

P- Party: Event to celebrate a birthday.

Q- Queen: Wife of the King.

R- Rain: Water falling from the sky.

S- School: A place where we come to learn.

T- Table: Furniture we use to support our books.

U- Umbrella: Object we use to protect ourselves from the rain.

V- Vowel: Non-consonant letters.

W- Water: Liquid that we use for bathing or drinking.

X- Xmas: Abbreviation for Christmas.

Y- Year: 365 days is a...

Z- Zoo: Place where we can see animals.
