CREATE YOUR OWN STORY

Who has never created their own fairy tale? With the following activity we give students the possibility to carry it out and tell the rest of their classmates about it… with the only condition that the words that have been randomly assigned to you must appear. These words can be taken from vocabulary cards that can be created by the teacher to adapt or specify the vocabulary to be worked on, or from the following website:

With this activity, as well as letting our students' imaginations run wild, we also work on writing and, if we can read them aloud to the whole class, on speaking and pronunciation.

GUESS WHO?

By carrying out this activity we are working on speaking with the students, as it is an exercise developed orally, therefore, this activity based on the typical traditional game is a very successful tool to work on oral fluency as well as vocabulary.

To develop this activity, we can use the pupils themselves in the classroom or adapt it to what we are interested in working on by projecting images, animals, cartoons or any topic that suits our interests as teachers and that at the same time attracts the attention of the pupils.

To carry out this activity, one of the students will have to choose a character and his/her classmates will have to ask him/her questions about his/her characteristics until they guess who or what the character is. The student who guesses the character will choose the next one.

BINGO

With this activity we will work with the students on listening and speaking. This Bingo is perfect for reviewing numbers with your students. Through the following link you will be able to access a platform that will randomly draw your bingo numbers:

The cards can be printed or written by the pupils, choosing 15 numbers between 1 and 90. One pupil should oversee singing the numbers to orally practice their pronunciation. Here is a link where you can find cardboards to print out:
